Physician scientist at Mayo Clinic Rochester developing AI systems that enhance human presence in patient-centered care. My research focuses on building machine learning solutions that reduce time to diagnosis and treatment, enabling clinicians to spend more time where it matters most: with patients.
Previously founded the Human+Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (H+AIM) lab at Yale, where I led interdisciplinary research at the intersection of clinical medicine, deep learning, and human-computer interaction. My work has been presented at leading AI conferences including NeurIPS and published in top-tier venues.
MD PhD trained, I bridge clinical expertise with technical rigor, developing methods that combine state-of-the-art machine learning with deep clinical insight to create AI systems that augment rather than replace human judgment.
